Delete Account & Data
At Kinhouse (kinhouse.app), you maintain full control over your personal data. You have the right to delete your account and request permanent removal of all associated household records, photos, and messages.
Option 1: In-App Immediate Deletion (Recommended)
If you have access to the Kinhouse app or web application:
- Open Kinhouse and navigate to Options & Settings (gear icon).
- Scroll to the bottom to the Danger Zone.
- Click or tap Delete My Account and confirm.
This action is immediate and non-reversible. It permanently purges your user account, deletes storage photos under your solely-owned households, purges billing identifiers, and removes your access.
Option 2: Web / Email Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the app or are unable to sign in, you can request manual deletion of your account and data by emailing us:
Send an email from your registered Kinhouse account email address to:
Email support@kinhouse.app
Please include the subject line: Account Deletion Request and confirm the email address associated with your Kinhouse account. Requests are processed within 30 days.
What Data Is Deleted?
- Account Identity: Your user profile, authentication record, and linked credentials.
- Solely-Owned Households: Chores, meals, groceries, events, and all uploaded recipe photos stored in storage.
- Messages & Reminders: Authored messages, reminders, and push subscription device endpoints.
- Billing Records: Transaction logs and payload metadata are scrubbed and anonymized.
Children's Profiles
As adult account holders manage all children profiles, deleting your account also removes any child profiles you created in households solely owned by you.
